Free tier keeps full intelligence, memory and personality — not a stripped-down demo like most companion apps
Nomi is listed under AI Companions & Roleplay, in the AI Chat & Assistants category on Flocci AI Tools. Free tier keeps full intelligence, memory and personality — not a stripped-down demo like most companion apps. It is freemium — a usable free tier with paid plans above it, and it lives at nomi.ai.
Nomi is freemium: there is a free tier you can work in and paid plans above it. It is one of 426 freemium tools in the catalog, all labelled the same way so you are never surprised by a paywall.
Nomi works in a normal browser tab with no install. It is available on the web, iOS and Android.
Nomi does 3 things the catalog singles out: Free tier keeps full intelligence, memory and personality — not a stripped-down demo like most companion apps; no credit card required to start; one active companion plus limited daily image generation on free plan; long-term memory positioned as its core differentiator versus competitors.
Character.AI is the closest free alternative: it sits in the same AI Companions & Roleplay sub-category and is free tier + paid plans. Kindroid, Replika and Talkie also start free. The full list is on the alternatives page.
